Early one morning in this wonderful and fascinating city I wandered around the casbah and came across this beautiful moorish arch with a muslim lady wearing a yashmak walking into the labyrinth of alleys and narrow streets. The souks and casbahs of the old city medinas in the cities of North Africa are some of the most evocative and special places in the world. One feels as though one is going back in time to biblical times. Amazing places of Africa
