Black and White Travel Film Photography
The incredible metal steel structure that is the Howrah Bridge is also known as Rabindra Setu Bridge and is a cantilever bridge with a suspended span over the Hooghly River in this great chaotic and lively city. It was commissioned in 1943 and has become an iconic landmark and symbol of this special place and was mentioned in Rudyard Kipling's great book The City of Dreadful Night. Here we see the abstract design of the steel structure. Great steel engineering in Asia
