Artist Felice Varini conceptual art installation at the Unite d'habitation in Marseille in Provence in France in Europe.
Architect Le Corbusier, aka Charles-Edouard Jeanneret. UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Whilst visiting Unite d'Habitation in Marseille I observed the conceptual art of Felice Varini. These beautiful optical shapes worked starkly graphic against the brutalist architecture and the blue Mediterranean sky. Chiaroscuro usually lends itself to monochrome imagery but here the harsh sunlight helped bring out the vivid color. Yellow against the blue sky. Amazing fine art in the architecture and buildings of France
