I once had to do a job photographing a woman who kept and trained Siberian Husky dogs. She had about fifty dogs that were kept together in a very large pen or reserve. I have to admit that I was somewhat anxious going into their area and was greeted by all of them howling and wanting to greet me at the same time. It was mayhem for about five minutes and I must have appeared to completely disappear within the crowd of dogs. After they had said hello they all completely calmed down and I spent some time taking their portraits. I've never had a dog and can't claim to be a 'dog person' but I totally fell for these magnificent, friendly, dignified and beautiful creatures. They were all so serene and posed for me as though they had been doing it all their lives and quite frankly it was no less than their due to be admired.
